About the Role
The Global Statistics and Quarterly Mastercard Reporting (QMR) team is responsible for collecting, analyzing, validating, and reporting Mastercard’s operational performance metrics. The team plays a critical role in ensuring data accuracy, maintaining reporting integrity, and providing insights that support business decision-making.
As an Analyst, you will participate in quarterly reporting activities, operational process improvements, customer data analysis, and performance reporting initiatives while working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the collection, validation, and reporting of quarterly operational data.
- Analyze customer-reported data to identify and prevent potential revenue leakage.
- Conduct analytical research related to QMR and switched activity metrics.
- Deliver detailed customer performance reports and business insights.
- Support projects involving operational metrics, performance drivers, and revenue analysis.
- Communicate with customers to resolve reporting and data-related inquiries.
- Provide training and support on QMR-related processes to internal and external customers.
- Maintain accurate documentation and inquiry tracking within internal systems.
- Assist regional finance teams with quarterly business updates.
- Contribute to system enhancements, testing activities, and process improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and quick to learn new concepts.
- Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and other business applications.
- Ability to analyze data and present meaningful insights.
- Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is preferred.
- Experience in change management or process improvement initiatives is an advantage.
- Six Sigma certification will be considered a plus.
