About the Role
As an IP Design Verification Engineer in Intel’s Unified Intel Chassis team, you will be responsible for verifying and validating Intellectual Property (IP) designs to ensure they meet performance, functionality, and quality standards. You will work closely with architects, RTL developers, and design teams to identify and resolve issues before silicon manufacturing, contributing to the development of Intel’s next-generation technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop IP verification plans, test benches, and verification environments based on microarchitecture specifications.
- Execute verification plans using simulation models to validate design functionality.
- Identify, debug, and resolve issues in pre-silicon verification environments.
- Collaborate with architects and RTL developers to verify complex architectural and microarchitectural features.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for test plans, verification results, and technical reviews.
- Enhance existing verification methodologies and infrastructure.
- Participate in defining verification frameworks and creating TFMs for functional design verification.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related discipline.
- 0–1 years of experience in IP verification with a bachelor’s degree or fresh master’s graduates.
- Proficiency in SystemVerilog and hardware simulation environments.
- Knowledge of OVM and UVM verification methodologies.
- Understanding of IP test development, test planning, and validation tools.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills using hardware simulation tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of CPU architecture and digital design concepts.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, or C#.
- Ability to work independently and proactively solve technical challenges.
