Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to track business KPIs and performance metrics.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Perform data cleaning, validation, and statistical analysis.
- Ensure data accuracy and resolve discrepancies in datasets.
- Support data governance and security practices.
- Work with ETL processes and data integration workflows.
- Utilize Power BI features such as DAX and Power Query.
- Document data models, processes, and workflows for transparency and compliance.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in Business Intelligence, analytics, and machine learning.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, data science, economics, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience with Power BI, including DAX and data modeling.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, including joins, subqueries, and query optimization.
- Understanding of statistical methods, data visualization, and analytical frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to convert data insights into meaningful business recommendations.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Knowledge of big data technologies.
- Exposure to machine learning concepts such as regression and classification models.
- Experience with ETL tools and data integration processes.
