SS&C is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join its team in Pune. The selected candidate will support financial technology operations through data analysis, reconciliation, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Escrow & Cash Management
- Manage and monitor Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) escrow accounts.
- Ensure proper handling of investor funds.
- Validate fund availability across UMB and State Street Bank (SSB) accounts before processing transactions.
- Follow internal controls, compliance standards, and fund-specific guidelines.
DDA Reconciliation
- Perform daily and monthly reconciliation of Demand Deposit Accounts (DDAs).
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank records and internal systems.
- Provide backup support for reconciliation activities when required.
- Maintain accuracy and ensure timely resolution of reconciliation breaks.
Manual Wire Processing
- Review and process outgoing wire transfers related to:
- Investor redemptions
- Shareholder payments
- Verify account balances and approvals before processing transactions.
- Ensure compliance checks are completed for high-value transactions.
- Escalate exceptions and irregularities according to company procedures.
Email Monitoring & Stakeholder Support
- Monitor shared mailboxes and ensure timely responses to queries.
- Support various operational teams, including:
- BPO Teams
- Call Center Teams
- Brokerage Operations
- Client Relationship Management (CRM) Teams
- Maintain high standards of service and communication.
Research & Issue Resolution
- Investigate aged reconciliation items and operational issues.
- Utilize internal systems, reports, and banking tools to identify root causes.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurring issues.
Reporting & Controls
- Generate and review reconciliation and transaction reports.
- Ensure compliance with internal audit requirements and regulatory standards.
- Support audit activities and control testing processes.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should possess:
- Graduation, engineering, or post-graduation degree.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilities.
