About the Role
As a member of NVIDIA’s CAD team, you will contribute to the development and support of software tools used across semiconductor product design and testing. The team works on Design for Test (DFT) solutions and develops in-house tools using technologies such as Python, C++, and TCL.
This role offers the opportunity to work on infrastructure, automation, cloud technologies, and AI-driven software development workflows while supporting the testing and deployment of advanced semiconductor products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage DevOps workflows for software development teams.
- Provide software, hardware, and laboratory support to maintain operational efficiency.
- Develop highly automated and customizable design flows using software engineering principles and AI code-generation technologies.
- Support tool development using Python, C++, and TCL.
- Collaborate with DFT Methodology, Implementation, and Design teams on development projects.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage cloud infrastructure and on-premises environments.
- Troubleshoot system, network, and application-related issues.
- Ensure reliable and scalable deployment processes across development environments.
Required Qualifications
- BE, BTech, MTech, or equivalent degree in computer science, electronics engineering, electrical engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure management.
- Strong programming and scripting skills in Python, C++, or TCL.
- Good understanding of software design principles, algorithms, and quality assurance practices.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong expertise in GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Jenkins and Artifactory.
- Understanding of build frameworks such as CMake and Meson.
- Experience using JIRA for project and issue tracking.
- Knowledge of software and hardware lab support environments.
Preferred Skills
Candidates will have an advantage if they possess:
- Knowledge or experience in Design for Test (DFT).
- Experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI-powered code generation.
- Strong problem-solving and automation skills.
